This series class is designed for kids 8 to 15. They will learn how to read a recipe, prepare and cook delicious and healthy dishes with emphasis on nutrition and food science. In this 4 day series course the kids will be exposed to working in the kitchen. We will cover basic kitchen techniques, measuring, how to read a recipe, how to plan a menu, basic etiquette, how to set a table, proper serving techniques as well as learn how to prepare a simple menu.
Limited to 20 students. The 4 day camp is $75.00 per day a total of $300.00 and you have to sign up your kid chef for all 4 days.

Getting children involved in preparing their own meals is also a wonderful opportunity to instill the import of eating nutritious meals. It may eventually become a necessity to teach children how to prepare meals, they may need to help out with family food shopping, preparation and cleanup.
