Culinary Team Building Takes Off As High-End Interactive Event

SEPTEMBER 07, 2004 -- The opportunity to interact with chefs and participate in culinary team building continues to be a popular group activity, and Las Vegas offers some new and enhanced options along these lines.
The Creative Cooking School, which opened two years ago on West Sahara Avenue in the Monte Cristo Plaza, has added a certified professional facilitator to its staff just for this purpose.
"We've done it because culinary team building has been such a success," said the school's owner, Catherine Margles. "People have told me that some forms of team building are too dangerous. But what's more natural than baking bread and having a glass of wine?"
Margles has established a separate website, www.lasvegasteam building.com, for her meeting and corporate business.
