Cooking School Develops Unity at Work

LAS VEGAS - Creative Cooking School and The Urban Group LLC have teamed up here to offer business executives the chance to build a rapport with each other through a different kind of team building experience.

Enhanced Culinary Team Building has executive from a business getting together to cook a gourmet meal and undergo team building exercises at the same time.

“Companies from across the country are bringing groups in from the wilderness and steering them straight to the kitchen,” Creative Cooking School Founder Catherine Margles said in a prepared statement.

Bank of America, Citibank/Citicorp and Nike International are some of the companies that have taken part in the Creative Cooking School’s team-building program.

Margles, a professionally trained chef who also holds a masters of business administration degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Business, started offering a culinary team-building program to integrate her love for cooking with her corporate team-building savvy.
